ABOUT DIANADiana Gutierrez is a nonbinary, queer, and Peruvian- American, a trauma-informed direct-services practitioner and a strong advocate for undocumented & queer communities. She believes power in representation within community-based organizations creates pipelines for equitable outcomes for economic mobility and mental health well-being. As a writer and strategic creative, Diana recognizes the importance of self-expression, particularly for communities that have historically been marginalized because it allows people to empower themselves.
About MeThe story goes as so, As a survivor of numerous mental health diagnosis and having been formerly undocumented for twenty-two years- Diana believes in the continuous power of Reiki to re-energize the body post life’s most painful moments. Diana has first hand experience benefitting from reiki since the age of 12 when her Tia Elba gave her her first reiki session and realized that her hyper sensitive niece would need some energetic empowerment to move through pain.
